DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR NEXUS TECHNOLOGY CUP APPLICATIONS

Nexus Louisiana extended the Nexus Technology Cup application deadline to May 7. The June 17–19 event in Baton Rouge features high school, college, and professional tracks. Innovators will pitch software or hardware projects to judges from Google, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft.

(Baton Rouge, LA) Due to overwhelming interest and requests from the tech community, Nexus Louisiana has extended the application deadline for the highly anticipated Nexus Technology Cup. Innovators now have until May 7 to submit their applications.

Scheduled to take place from June 17 to 19 at The Water Campus in Baton Rouge, the Nexus Technology Cup invites high school and college students, developers, and creative minds across Louisiana to showcase their innovative software and hardware projects. The competition features three distinct tracks: high school, college, and an open track, for professionals and tech enthusiasts.

"We've received an incredible response from talented individuals and teams eager to participate in this unique event," said Tony Zanders, President and CEO of Nexus Louisiana. "Extending the deadline ensures everyone has ample time to refine their ideas and submit top-quality entries, further enriching the competition."

Participants will have the chance to present their projects to an esteemed panel of judges from leading technology companies, including Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Google. The Nexus Technology Cup promises to be a landmark event, celebrating innovation and collaboration within Louisiana's growing tech community.
