• Currently enrolled at a Louisiana college or university 
• Interested in building technology-driven solutions 
• Designers, developers, problem-solvers, and creative thinkers 
• New to competitions or participating for the first time — beginners are welcome 
• Teams must consist of 1-4 students

Teams are encouraged to create solutions in any format, from web or mobile applications to data tools, wearables, or algorithms. All innovative ideas are welcome; however, prize eligibility is reserved for projects that address the specific challenges set by our industry partners. Whether you present a wireframe, mockup, or functional prototype, what matters most is the creativity, problem-solving, and potential impact your solution brings.

Your prototype does not need to be fully built or market-ready to apply. We’re looking for a clear, minimal demonstration of your technology and a thoughtful explanation of how it addresses the challenge. That said, the more developed and well-articulated your solution is, the more competitive it will be. Strong concepts, early testing, visuals, or functional elements can help strengthen your submission and improve your chances of advancing to the finals.

Once you decide to participate, start assembling your team right away. Reach out to peers, colleagues, and connections in your network who share your passion for innovation. Teams can include up to four members.

All work created during the competition belongs to the team that built it. However, simply being on a team doesn’t entitle anyone to ownership of future spin-offs or ideas unless you’ve built them collaboratively.

Finalists can schedule up to 2 hours of expert coaching over four weeks to gain personalized guidance and insights to refine their ideas and strengthen their solutions.
