DevDays is open to all innovators, from students to seasoned professionals, who are passionate about solving Louisiana’s most pressing challenges. While prize eligibility, including the $5,000 cash award, complimentary hotel accommodations, and the on-field announcement in Tiger Stadium, is reserved for students, participation offers tremendous value for everyone. You’ll have the chance to engage with industry leaders, connect with emerging talent, and expand your network within Louisiana’s vibrant innovation ecosystem.

Teams are encouraged to create solutions in any format, from web or mobile applications to data tools, wearables, or algorithms. All innovative ideas are welcome; however, prize eligibility is reserved for projects that address the specific challenges set by our industry partners. Whether you present a wireframe, mockup, or functional prototype, what matters most is the creativity, problem-solving, and potential impact your solution brings.

Once you decide to participate, start assembling your team right away. Reach out to peers, colleagues, and connections in your network who share your passion for innovation. Teams can include up to four members.

All work created during the competition belongs to the team that built it. However, simply being on a team doesn’t entitle anyone to ownership of future spin-offs or ideas unless you’ve built them collaboratively.

Participants will have the opportunity to schedule a dedicated one-hour session with an expert coach, gaining personalized guidance and insights to help refine their ideas and strengthen their solutions.
