BizTech Challenge

The BizTech Challenge™ is a STEM-based pitch competition, developed by Nexus Louisiana, that allows students attending Louisiana’s historically Black colleges and universities to validate their business ideas, build real businesses and even win some cash.

On Friday, November 24 in New Orleans,  teams will take center stage to pitch their businesses to a live audience, compete head-to-head against some of Louisiana’s brightest students, and potentially walk away with $10,000!

• Teams are alloted 5 minutes to present, 2 minutes for a tech demo and 3 minutes for Q&A.
• Top 3 three teams will receive a total of $20,000 (up to $10,000 for the 1st place winner).
• The first place will be selected based on their innovation, business model, and technical achievement.
